PTZ auto tracking function related issues, such as Auto Tracking doesn’t work, the accuracy is poor, the focus of image is lost, etc.

Show Tracking
To help check the Auto Tracking target and better configure the Auto Tracking, we strongly recommend that enabling “Show Tracking” to show tracking in Auto Tracking function. 
After the Show Tracking is enabled, it will mark the object that triggers Auto Tracking in the green box. 
1.1 Tracking Object
Please select at least one Tracking Object to active the Auto Tracking.
If not, when you save the settings, it will prompt ”Auto Tracking will not work if Tracking Object is not selected. Confirm to continue?” as shown below:
1.2 Auto Tracking Alarm Action
The events that support the Auto Tracking alarm action are:
Region Entrance, Region Exiting, Advanced Motion Detection, Line Crossing, Loitering,Object Left/Removed
After you enable the corresponding Auto Tracking alarm action, the Auto Tracking function will be in standby.
Note:
The priority of alarm as shown below:
VCA > Auto Tracking > Basic Event
If the Auto Tracking doesn’t work, please check whether VCA function is enabled. You could confirm it in Live View interface.
1.3 Focus Lost
Please confirm the Focus Mode is Semi-Auto.

Factors that might affect, including but not limited to fast moving, complicated environment, turn around sharply on image edge, etc. For example, if the camera is too close to the object, then object occupies a larger proportion of the image, which will seriously affect the accuracy.
Considering above cases, we strongly recommend that installing camera in a position where you can see the whole field.
Others
1. If you encounter below situation, such as:
A. Preset position will shift after Auto tracking, on PTZ Bullet Model (XX61 model).
B. After you enable the Preset Schedule /Patrol and Auto Tracking at the same time, the camera will go to wrong position when Auto Tracking stops.
C. The accuracy of Auto Tracking is low.
D. Auto Tracking will be interrupted during the tracking process.
