I.What is snapshot download function

Camera snapshot includes Timing Snapshot and Alarm Snapshot.

You can enable Timing Snapshot and set the schedule setting in Snapshot Settings to get the Timing Snapshots in different time.

When you set the alarm action as Save Into Storage and choose the Snapshot as the File Format, the Alarm Snapshot will be saved in the storage.

You can go to Storage -> Explore, download the snapshots according to the Sub Type(Timing Snapshot/Alarm Snapshot), Start Time and End Time. But please remember to mount storage device first.

II.Difference in different camera model and firmware  

1.General Camera Model and Firmware Version

Snapshots can be downloaded with all or multiple selections.You can check the select-all option in the upper left corner to select all snapshots according to the Sub Type ,Start Time and End Time.

You can also choose one or more snapshots to download. 

The snapshots will be downloaded directly in the browser.

2. Special Camera Model and Firmware Version

Due to above version and platform is quite old, the select-all option is grey and can't to be checked in these version interface. Snapshot can't be downloaded with all or multiple selections. You can only select and download one snapshot each time.

How to use the MS Export:

Enter the camera IP, admin and password. Choose a path where you want to download the snapshots in, and it will display the path in the interface. Select the start time and end time you want. Click the Export button and after it displays “Capture snapshot completed”, the snapshots are downloaded successfully in the Path.

III.Snapshot download difference in different Browser

When you download snapshots in different browser, the download interface will be different. 

1. Browser with Plugin mode

For example, using the IE to download the snapshot, the snapshot will be download in the same web page.

2. Browser with Plugin-free mode

For example, If you use the Google Chrome or other, every snapshot will be downloaded

in a new web page.

Note: 

Remember to allow the pop-ups and redirects when you download multiple snapshots in 

the Google Chrome. If you block this, only first snapshot you choose will be downloaded.
